BUCHERER
When Bucherer opened in Paris the largest multi-brand luxury watches store in Europe, they reached out to Philip to art direct their opening exhibition. Finding a concept that needed approval by all the featured watch brands was a true challenge, but the parallel between architecture and watchmaking finally made everyone agree. Philip took inspiration from early sketches of Frank Lloyd Wright, which he then simplified to their most basic structure. That same concept was then deployed to the catalogue design, invitation, the display of the windows, and the Mondrian inspired structures that displayed the visuals. For the photography, he teamed up with still life photographer Christophe Bouquet.
